Our eclectic collection of modern designs are sourced from hand picked suppliers world wide. While most of our modern rugs are 100% wool, some man made materials can offer special advantages. In particular, the acrylic yarns we source from Japan are a superior option that produce a lovely soft pile which also enables a breathtaking brightness of colour to be achieved. We have a varied selection of materials and can advise on the most suitable for your individual requirements.
Classic and traditional
Many will agree, there is nothing quite like the sumptuous appeal of the classic design work of Persian and Orient rugs. The expertise in craftsmanship evident in these exquisite hand knotted works of art is undeniable. Fortunately these styles are now replicated on Wilton looms, making them much more accessible, particularly as availability of these classic rugs has become limited in modern times. With the injection of some contemporary colourings, the more traditional look can now complement the modern home beautifully.
